Autism Learners is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (PT) Near Hampton, VA

Autism Learners has a job opening for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment services for children with autism and related disorders. We are looking for talented, hard-working, and experienced individuals to provide behavior-analytic support to our clients. We look forward to speaking with you!
Autism Learners is striving for a 1-2 tier treatment hierarchy where BCBA's or BCaBA's provide direct service, treatment development and parent training. This effort is to ensure the quality and consistency of care remains at the high level our clients deserve.
Clients will be serviced in-home in the Williamsburg, VA and Yorktown, VA area. Parent training will be conducted in the Newport News, Yorktown, Williamsburg and Portsmouth areas.
We believe each client deserves dedicated, professional care. The incoming BCBA will have a small caseload working directly with 2-3 clients in the home setting. In this role, the BCBA will develop and implement treatment protocols, as well as, complete parent training.
Pay is based on experience at a rate per hour of $60-$75/hr. That is approximately $60,000-$110,000 for a 20-30-hour work week.
Job Duties:
  • Develop behavior and skill acquisition programs for assigned clients.
  • Conduct initial, quarterly, and/or bi-annual assessments.
  • Report on client progress in daily, monthly, and bi-annual data summary reports.
  • Meet all deadlines on or before the due date for assigned tasks and reports.
  • Attend all team meetings, as needed.
  • Implement behavior and skill acquisition programs in a one-on-one or group setting with assigned clients.
  • Act as a mandated reporter on all cases.
  • Conduct one-on-one parent training.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia.
  • Certified as a Behavior Analyst with the BACB or other qualified board.
  • Has a bachelor's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience working in the field of education, mental health, or applied behavior analysis.
  • 1 year of experience working directly with children or adults with autism and/or other related disorders.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Have access to modern technology devices such as a laptop, iPad, tablet, smartphone, etc. that can be used to perform day-to-day work tasks, on-site and off-site.
  • Has availability to work between the hours of 2 and 8p.
  • Clear background check.
